DO NOT play with new piercings
DO NOT twist or move new piercings
DO NOT touch piercings with dirty hands
AVOID chlorinated water
AVOID the ocean or bodies of water until healing is complete
CLEAN your piercing after going into any water (even after healing is complete)
If you suspect you are developing piercing bumps, keloids, or excess scar tissue please contact your piercer and we will help!
ATTENTION: If you experience swelling, use cold compress and take Ibuprofen.
DO NOT USE: Alcohol based products, hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, or anything other than saline solution on your piercings!
SIGNS OF INFECTION: Redness or swelling that lasts more than a few days, thick yellow/green pus, sharp throbbing pain that persists or worsens, fever, chills, body aches.
If you think your piercing is infected, please come in and we will help point you in the right direction. Most times it is not infected, it is just irritated!
PLEASE: Take proper care of your piercing and know that smoking can prolong your healing. Additionally, please come in for your downsize as directed by your piercer. This will ensure good healing and decrease the probability of irritation or piercing bumps.
